“Pizza Since 1956”  For you daily dose of Hipstamatic this image of a neon pizza sign. This sign is in the window of “Sammy”s” pizza on Broadway in downtown Fargo, North Dakota.  A great pizza, give them a try.

“Steam Tractor”   For your daily dose of Hipstamatic this image of a Nichols and Shepard steam tractor on 1st Ave North in Fargo.  I used the Tinto 1884 lens for the wet plate look.

“SUN DOGS”   For you daily dose of Hipstamaic this image of a Sun Dog.  The camera lens was not big enough to capture the full halo.  Without going into the scientific mumbo jumbo if you see a Sun Dog it’s going to be a very cold night. -26 below tonight in Fargo, North Dakota.

“Schwinn Typoon”   For your daily dose of Hipstamatic this image of a 1965 Schwinn Typoon Bicycle.  It’s in the window of Everett’s Barber Shop in downtown Fargo, North Dakota.  I love the style of these old bikes of times gone by.  Some may remember putting baseball cards in the spokes with clothes pins to make noise.  A lot of rare baseball cards lost in this way.

“Wheel Chair”   For your daily dose of Hipstamatic this image of a man in his wheel chair going down a Fargo Street.  It was like 10 degrees with a 20 mile an hour south wind.  After going about 1 mile he made it a couple of more blocks to the Salvation Army building.  Tough old bird.

“Fargo Theater” For you daily dose of Hipstamatic this image of the Fargo Theater in downtown Fargo, North Dakota. 

The Fargo Theatre was built in 1926 as a Vaudeville and Cinema House, complete with a Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ. Through the years, film icons have graced their silver screen and many greats (including Babe Ruth, Janet Leigh and Tom Mix) have made guest appearances on stage.

With its classic art deco design beautifully restored and rennovated in 1998-99, the Fargo Theatre now opperates as a first-run cinema, 364 days a year.
